Freehand Sketching - Click to Enlarge
This is an example of one of my freehand sketches that I did at lunch one day. The sketch was done with a regular ball-point pen, but the picture shows other tools at my disposal. Many of the templates and guides I picked up when I was a draftsman. Many of the pencils that I still have are from several sources, my favorite being McDonnell Douglas logo items. Though now I am hesitant to use an new pencil as these have a market value to them. I will be putting other drawings here in the near future.
CATEGORIES
I thought about how to organize all the drawings and sketches that I have. Some are doodles, others were produced as a thought process, and others were assignments that had a portfolio in mind. Some actually helped in putting together a small publication and show a progression of ideas. A sample of each will be presented here. I decided to break up the drawings into like-minded groups to keep consistency even though some of the similar drawings were done over several years. These categories will follow.
