X-15 Drawings and Sketches

One of the subjects that I have researched quite a bit is the X-15. I started this ages ago with the purchase from NASA of a beginners book on the subject. This became a life long project to find out more about the details of the flights, the men and the mechanics of it all. It is a fascinating adventure. I would like to present some of the sketches that I have used in the process of that adventure. I used several of my sketches to help others in detailing their models along the way.

 First up is a quick preview of the purpose of the sketches.  This is to further add to what the photos show or to add the measurements that the specifications detail.   Later, I will provide a closeup of each sketch for easier viewing.
